El Cajon MATRIX is hosting TRYOUTS for the following teams (birth years):

Boys Teams
2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, & 2014/15

Girls Teams
2009, 2010/11, 2012/13 & 2014/15

All tryouts will be held at Montgomery Middle School: 1570 Melody Ln., El Cajon, 92019

Players are encouraged to attend all tryouts as available. Per SOCAL Soccer League rules, players with birth years in 2013-2009 who are currently affiliated with a club team must wait until February 13th to participate in any tryouts for other club teams; similarly, players with birth years 2008 and older must wait until April 24th to participate in tryouts. Offers to join MATRIX will be extended to players & their parents/guardians on a rolling basis.

El Cajon MATRIX provides opportunities for youth to develop athletic skill and personal character while enjoying competitive soccer at the club level. MATRIX teams are led by volunteer coaches, and fees are significantly less than other clubs. MATRIX teams demonstrate success through a fun and community based approach to competitive soccer. 2023 Teams will participate in a spring season, summer tournaments, the primary SOCAL season in the fall, and State Cup starting in January 2024.

No pre-registration necessary; arrive with appropriate equipment, including shin guards & cleats.
